How to exclude attachment content from searching in Outlook?
When directly entering text content that you want to filter out the emails based on into the Search box in Outlook, the search results will be displayed in email subject, body, as well as the attachment content. If you want to exclude attachment content from searching in Outlook, the method in this article can help you.
I've noticed that when I do a search in Outlook, Outlook considers it a match if some of the terms I'm searching for are in a message attachment. I'd like to disable this. That is, when I search for terms in my email archive, I don't want to see something listed where some of the terms I'm searching for are in an attachment. I only want to see results where everything I'm searching for is in the message itself (or its headers).

As mentioned in this article, if you just want to do mail search in message itself, please enter content:YourSearchContent into the Search box.
For searching for headers(Subject), please use this search criteria: subject:YourSearchContent.
