How to get suggestions for refining your writing from Editor in Outlook?

Microsoft adds Editor, a spell and grammar check tool, to Outlook for Microsoft 365 subscribers. The tool is automatically enabled in Outlook for Microsoft 365 subscribers whose system language is supported by Editor. Please read on to check out how Microsoft Editor helps you proof your emails.

Get suggestions for refining your writing from Editor in Outlook

1. Once you have written an email, click Editor in the ribbon on the Message tab. Alternatively, you can go to Review tab and click on Spelling and Grammar.

2. You will see an Editor pane appear on the right side of the page.

3. From the pane, you can see the total number of suggestions, you can click on it to see the suggestions one by one.

4. If you have entered a proper noun, you can add it to dictionary; If you want to replace the original text with the suggested one, just click on the suggestion.

Alternatively, you can right click on an underlined word or sentence to see Editor's suggestion on the right-clicking list as shown below.
