When working with a long or wide dataset, you can use Excel keyboard shortcuts to quickly navigate through a continuous data range, or use Kutools for Excel to jump directly to the last cell, row, or column in the used range.

In some cases, you want to move to the last column, row or cell in used range instead of last data, with Kutools for Excel’s Select Last Cell utility can help you.
After free downloading and installing Kutools for Excel, please do as below:
Enable the sheet you want to locate in the last column or row in the used range, click Kutools > Select > Select Last Cell > Select Last Cell/Last Row/Last Column. See screenshot:

Conclusion
Excel shortcuts are the fastest built-in option when your data is continuous. Ctrl + ↓ moves to the end of the current column data range, while Ctrl + → moves to the end of the current row data range. However, if blank rows or columns exist within the data, the shortcut stops before the first blank.
Kutools for Excel's Select Last Cell is more convenient when you need to locate the end of the entire used range. It provides dedicated options for Last Cell, Last Row, and Last Column, making it especially useful for large or irregular worksheets where gaps in the data can interrupt Excel's standard navigation shortcuts.
