The following formulas can help you to count the uppercase letter or lowercase letters only in a cell, please do as this:

Count the number of uppercase letter in a cell:

Please enter this formula:

=SUMPRODUCT(LEN(A2)-LEN(SUBSTITUTE(A2,CHAR(ROW(INDIRECT("65:90"))),""))) into a blank cell beside your data cell to locate the result, and then drag the fill handle down to the cells where you want to count the uppercase letters, and the number of uppercase letters have been counted at once, see screenshot:

Count the number of lowercase letter in a cell:

Please enter this formula:

=SUMPRODUCT(LEN(A2)-LEN(SUBSTITUTE(A2,CHAR(ROW(INDIRECT("97:122"))),""))) into a blank cell beside your data, and then drag the fill handle down to the cells where you want to apply this formula, and all lowercase letters of the corresponding cells have been counted as following screenshot shown:
