VBA code: Click on alphabet letter to go to cell which starts with that letter

Private Sub Worksheet_SelectionChange(ByVal Target As Range)
    Dim xRg As Range
    Dim xCell As Range
    Dim xRgRtn As Range
    On Error Resume Next
    Application.EnableEvents = False
    If Not Intersect(Target, Range("1:1")) Is Nothing Then
        Set xRg = ActiveSheet.UsedRange
        Set xRg = xRg(1).Offset(1, 0).Resize(xRg.Rows.Count, xRg.Columns.Count)
        For Each xCell In xRg
            If Left(xCell.Value, 1) = Target.Value Then
                If xRgRtn Is Nothing Then
                    Set xRgRtn = xCell
                Else
                    Set xRgRtn = Application.Union(xRgRtn, xCell)
                End If
            End If
        Next
        If xRgRtn.Address = Target.Address Then
            MsgBox "No matched cell found", , "KuTools For Excel"
        Else
            xRgRtn.Select
        End If
    End If
    Application.EnableEvents = True
End Sub

Note: In the code, 1:1 means that the alphabet letters locate on the first row of the worksheet.

3. Press the Alt + Q keys simultaneously to close the Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications window.

From now on, when clicking on an alphabet cell, all cells which start with that letter are selected at once in the worksheet automatically.

That's a really good implementation of "find the word that starts with the letter . . ."
I don't want the cells selected though as that can lead to data changes or worse, deletions.
I know that because I just did it. ;-(
I will figure out how to jump to the first cell and not select all (or any) of them.
Meantime, I thank you for your assistance. I appreciate this.

Hi,
Sorry for the inconvenience, the following VBA code can help to jump to the first cell in current sheet when clicking on a cell that contains a specific letter.
Private Sub Worksheet_SelectionChange(ByVal Target As Range)
'Updated by Extendoffice 20220520
    Dim xRg As Range
    Dim xCell As Range
    Dim xRgRtn As Range
    On Error Resume Next
    Application.EnableEvents = False
    If Not Intersect(Target, Range("1:1")) Is Nothing Then
        Set xRg = ActiveSheet.UsedRange
        Set xRg = xRg(1).Offset(1, 0).Resize(xRg.Rows.Count, xRg.Columns.Count)
        For Each xCell In xRg
            If Left(xCell.Value, 1) = Target.Value Then
                If xRgRtn Is Nothing Then
                    Set xRgRtn = xCell
                    Exit For
                End If
            End If
        Next
        If xRgRtn.Address = Target.Address Then
            MsgBox "No matched cell found", , "KuTools For Excel"
        Else
            xRgRtn.Select
        End If
    End If
    Application.EnableEvents = True
End Sub
