How to delete infinite blank rows in Excel?

Have you ever been bored with deleting infinite blank rows in Excel? Finding and deleting them one by one must be troublesome. Here I introduce some methods to quickly handle it.

Delete infinite blank rows with Go Special and Delete

1. Select the whole worksheet by pressing Alt + A keys, next press Ctrl + G keys to enable the Go To dialog, and then click Special. See screenshot:

2. In the Go To Special dialog, check Blanks option. See screenshot:

3. Click OK, now all blank cells in the blank rows have been selected.

4. Right click at one of these selected blank cells, and choose Delete from the context menu. See screenshot:

5. In the Delete dialog, check Entire row, and click OK.

Now the blank rows have been deleted.

Delete infinite blank rows in a selection/worksheet/workbook with Kutools for Excel

If you want to delete all blank rows across the whole workbook, how troublesome you are while deleting rows one sheet by one sheet. However, if you have Kutools for Excel’s Delete Blank Rows utility, that is a piece of cake.

After installing Kutools for Excel, please do as below:（Free Download Kutools for Excel Now!)

Enable the sheet, and click Kutools > Delete > Delete Blank Rows, and select one option as you need in the sub-menu.

Only show selection and hide other range with Kutools for Excel

If you only want to show the data range you selected and hide other blank range, you can apply Kutools for Excel’s Set Scroll Area utility.

After installing Kutools for Excel, please do as below:（Free Download Kutools for Excel Now!)

Select the area you want to display only, and click Kutools > Show & Hide > Set Scroll Area. See screenshot:
