Enter this formula into a blank cell where you want to return the result:

=MATCH(A2,{"Monday","Tuesday","Wednesday","Thursday","Friday","Saturday","Sunday"},0), then drag the fill handle down to the cells that you want to apply this formula, and all the relative numbers based on the weekday strings have been populated into the cells, see screenshot:
