How to convert thousand commas to decimal points or vice versa in Excel?
When you are working at some international audit, you may have encountered this problem, to convert thousand commas to decimal points or vice versa in Excel worksheet. Do you have any tricks on solving this task?
If you have a list of numbers as below screenshot shown, now you want to convert the commas (the thousands separator ) to decimal points, and the decimal points (decimal separator) to commas, you can use the Option function.
Click File > Options, then in the Excel Options dialog, click Advanced from left pane, then in the right section, the Editing options group, uncheck Use system separator, then type comma into the Decimal separator box to instead of the decimal point, and type decimal point to the Thousand separator box to replace the comma.
