Outlook send/received progress message: "None of the authentication methods supported by this client are supported by your server" What does this mean and how can I fix it? Looking for direction.

It worked for me, but should I change my mind, how do I undo it? (Outlook 2010)

This response is not correct. I checked the "Do not Show" box, and it still appears every time I send or close out my my Outlook. Anything else I can try? I don't want to see the send/Receive Progress. Thank you Georgia

Georgia, for Office 2013 I was able to stop the annoying send/receive progress box by going to the Send/Receive Tab, Clicking on the dropdown list for send/receive groups, define Send/Receive groups and unchecking "Perform an Automatic send/receive when exiting. Very glad to say it is gone ;)

Can't catch it, blinks too fast. Outlook 2013.

Click on the Show Progress under the Send / Receive option.

Show Progress does not blink, it stays until you cancel it.
