How to select a range of pages from whole document in Word?
If you need to select multiple pages in a Word document, doing it manually can be tedious. Fortunately, there are several efficient ways to select a range of pages. This guide will introduce three methods to help you quickly select the pages you need.
Select a range of pages using Shift key
- Click at the beginning of the content on the first page you want to select.
- Hold down the Shift key and scroll to the last page of the range.
- Click at the end of the content on the last page to select all pages in between.
Select a range of pages with Kutools for Word
With Kutools for Word, you can quickly select any range of pages with just a few clicks.
- Click Kutools > Select > Pages > Select Pages.
- In the Select Pages dialog, do one of the following:
- To select a page range, select the Select pages according to range option, and enter the page range into the input boxes.
- To select specific pages, choose the Select pages according to selection option, and check the pages from the list box.
- Click OK or Apply to select the specified pages.
Select a range of pages with VBA
- Press Alt + F11 to open the Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications window.
- Click Insert > Module, then copy and paste the following VBA code:
Sub selectpages() Dim rgePages As Range Selection.GoTo What:=wdGoToPage, Which:=wdGoToAbsolute, Count:=2 Set rgePages = Selection.Range Selection.GoTo What:=wdGoToPage, Which:=wdGoToAbsolute, Count:=6 rgePages.End = Selection.Bookmarks("\Page").Range.End rgePages.Select End Sub - Press F5 to run the code. Pages 2 to 6 will be selected.
Note: You can modify Count:=2 and Count:=6 to select a different range of pages.
