The following formula can help you quickly compare two cells in a row and return Yes if they are matched in Excel. Please do as follows.

1. Select a blank cell, copy formula =IF(A2=B2,"Yes","") into the formula bar and then press the Enter key. See screenshot:

Buenas tardes, me paso por acá para preguntar si alguien conoce alguna manera en Excel para comparar 2 celdas de la siguiente manera:

Celda A1= LUIS CORDOBA FRANCISCO
Celda A2= FRANCISCO LUIS CORDOBA

como se observa, contiene las mismas palabras pero en diferente orden, si hago una función igual, va a decir que no coincide. Si alguien sabe como hacerlo se lo agradezco.

Hi CESAR PEREZ,

Sorry, in this case Excel will determine the two cells as a mismatch.

how to have vlookup find values and then remove found values from lookup table (or copy the rest of the values).

Why is that necessary, because the first group of people (that are found with vlookup) are the main focus of the research, and the rest are control group and we need the within the same sheet

What if you want to return a value if they are not the same instead of if they match?

Meghan Say,
To return a value if they are not the same, please apply the following formula.
=IF(A2<>B2,"Yes","")
