How to remove and empty autocomplete list from Outlook?
Auto-Complete List is very helpful to hint recipients’ names or email addresses when we typing in the To/Cc/Bcc field. However, the auto-complete list is not needed in some cases. In this article, we will show you ways to remove specified names from auto-complete list, and remove the complete list from Microsoft Outlook as well.

Remove an email address from the drop down Autocomplete list
This section will guide you to remove some specified email addresses from the auto-complete list easily in Microsoft Outlook 2010 and 2013.
Step 1: Create a new email with clicking the New E-mail button on the Home tab.
Step 2: Get into the To field, and type the name or email address that you will remove from the auto-complete list.
Note: The auto-complete list will drop down when typing in the To field.
Step 3: Move mouse over the name or email address that you will remove in the drop-down list, and click the Close button behind it.
Then the name or email address is removed from the auto-complete list at once.
Note: This method does not work in Microsoft Outlook 2007.
Empty the Autocomplete list from Outlook 2010 and 2013
The section will show you the way to empty the auto-complete list from Microsoft Outlook 2010 and 2013.
Step 1: Click the File > Options.
Step 2: In the Outlook Options dialog box, please click the Mail in the left bar.
Step 3: Go to the Send messages section, and click the Empty Auto-Complete List button.
Step 4: In the popping up warning dialog box, please click the Yes button.
Step 5: Click the OK button in the Options dialog box.
Note: The Empty Auto-Complete List button will remove all email addresses and names permanently in the auto-complete list. Actually, you can turn off the auto-complete list with unchecking the option of Use Auto-Complete List to suggest names when typing in the To, CC, and Bcc lines.
Turn off the Autocomplete list in Outlook 2007
This section will show you the way to turn off the auto-complete list in Microsoft Outlook 2007.
Step 1: Click the Tools > Options.
Step 2: In the Outlook Options dialog box, please click the E-mail Options button.
Step 3: In the E-mail Options dialog box, please click the Advanced E-mail Options button.
Step 4: In the Advanced E-mail Options dialog box, please uncheck the option of Suggest names while completing To, Cc, and Bcc fields.
Step 5: Click all OK buttons in each dialog box.
