How to open all attachments in bulk in Outlook?
Outlook provides a Save All Attachments feature to quickly download attachments from an email. However, it lacks a built-in option to open all attachments in bulk directly. If you often manage multiple attachments, this limitation can be frustrating. In this article, we introduce two effective methods: saving attachments first and then opening them in bulk. Additionally, weโll highlight a faster and more seamless method using Kutools for Outlook, which is particularly efficient for managing attachments across multiple emails.

Batch Open All Attachments in Multiple Emails Using Kutools for Outlook ๐ (Effortless and Recommended )
Batch Open All Attachments in One Email Using Save All Attachments
This method allows you to save and open all attachments from a single email manually. While it works for occasional use, it may feel tedious when dealing with multiple emails.
1. In the Mail view, select and preview the email in the Reading Pane. Then select any one of the attachments to activate the Attachment Tools. See screenshot:
2. Click Attachments > Save All Attachments.
3. In the popping Save All Attachments dialog box, click the OK button.
4. Select a destination folder where youโll save the attachments and click OK.
5. All attachments are now saved in the destination folder. Navigate to the folder, select all saved attachments, right-click, and choose Open from the context menu. The attachments will then open in bulk.
Drawbacks:
- Time-Consuming for Multiple Emails: While effective for a single email, this process becomes laborious when applied to multiple emails, as attachments must be saved and opened email by email.
- Manual Effort: The repeated manual steps for each email can be tedious and inefficient.
- No Unified Organization: Attachments from different emails are not grouped or categorized, making management cumbersome.
๐ Save Space with Auto Compress!

- Compress All Attachments: Enable auto-compression for all received attachments with just one click.
