The latest version of Kutools for Excel 35.00 is now available!

This release introduces the new Data Validation Protection feature, helping prevent data validation rules from being accidentally modified or removed, as well as a convenient Disable Kutools for Excel option that allows users to temporarily turn off all Kutools features during the current Excel session. In addition, several existing features now support Microsoft Sensitivity Labels, Design View highlighting has been enhanced, and numerous interface and stability improvements have been made throughout the product.

New Features

  1. Validation Protection
    Data Validation Protection is a new security feature designed to help maintain data-entry accuracy by preventing data validation rules from being accidentally modified or removed.
    • Block invalid operations that would remove or alter existing data validation rules, including paste, fill, drag, row or column insertion/deletion, and more.

    • Detect validation changes made by VBA macros, automated scripts, and other external processes.

  2. Turn Off Kutools
    The new Turn Off Kutools feature allows users to temporarily disable all Kutools functionality during the current Excel session without uninstalling the add-in.

Improvements

  1. Enhanced Microsoft Sensitivity Label Compatibility
    The following features now support workbooks protected with Microsoft Sensitivity Labels:
    • Encrypt Workbooks
    • Decrypt Workbooks
    • Combine Worksheets
    This enhancement improves compatibility with modern enterprise security environments and enables smoother workflows when working with protected documents.
  2. Design View
    The highlighting experience in Design View has been further optimized:
    • Added notifications when no matching data is found.
    • Automatically scrolls highlighted results into the visible worksheet area when the highlighted range is outside the current view.
    These improvements make locating and reviewing target data faster and more intuitive.
  3. UI and Message Optimizations
    • Improved various user interface elements.
    • Refined notifications for better clarity and usability.
