How to expand all collapsed columns or rows in Excel?
Sometimes, the sheet you received from others may contains some collapsed columns or rows which you cannot see all contents of the sheet, how can you display all contents for viewing in Excel? Here, this article, I introduce the tricks to solve this job in different cases.
In the first case, if your collapse columns and rows are displayed as below screenshot shown, you can use the Group and Ungroup functions.
Click at the plus sign to change it to minus sign to display the collapse columns or rows.
Select the whole sheet, click Data > Ungroup > Clear Outline to display all collapse columns and rows which are grounded by the Group function.
If the data is collapsed as below screenshot shown, you can clear the filter to display all.
Select the data range you want to expand the data, click Data > Filter to disable the Filter function, then all cells have been displayed at once.
If the data is hidden as this screenshot shown, you can use the Unhide function to show cells.
Select the columns or rows which contain the hidden columns or rows, and then right click to select Unhide from context menu.
Drag the column border or row border wider to display the hidden contents.
If the contents are hidden with both Hide and Group as below screenshot shown, do not worry, you can apply Kutools for Excel’s Unhide All Ranges feature to display all.

Click Kutools > Show/Hide > Unhide All Ranges.
