How to disable Outlook keeps beeping when message arriving?

1. Please click File > Options.

2. In the Outlook Options dialog box, please click Mail in the left bar, and uncheck the Play a sound box in the Message arrival section. Then click the OK button.

In Outlook 2007, please do as follows.

1. Please click Tools > Options.

2. In the Options dialog box, please click the E-mail Options button under Preferences tab.

3. When the E-mail Options dialog box popping up, please click the Advanced E-mail Options button in the Message handing section.

4. In the Advanced E-mail Options dialog box, please uncheck the Play a sound box in the When new items arrive in my Inbox section. And then click the OK button. See screenshot:

5. Please click the OK buttons in the following dialog box to finish the whole settings. And when there are emails arriving next time, you will not get the beeping sound.
