Quickly save papers by adjusting spacing between words
Kutools for Word
Adjusting spacing between words can save papers when printing the document. It is very useful especially for a long document. Kutools for Word’s Short Last Line utility can quickly adjust and compress the paragraph to make space for the last short sentence, if the paragraph is ending with a short sentence. By doing this, it will save a lot space in a long document.
Click Kutools Plus >Short Last Line. See the screenshot:
1. Select the selections that you want to short the paragraph, then, click Kutools Plus > Short Last Line.
2. After the adjusting, a prompt box is popped out to remind you how many paragraphs have been adjusted, see screenshot:
3. Then, click OK, the paragraphs have been adjusted as below screenshots shown:

Note: The common length of short last line is between 1 and 15 characters, you can also define character number of the short sentence, please click the arrow in the Select group to open the Options dialog, then adjust the number in the textbox of the Max Characters in the Shorter Paragraph section.
