Easily group radio buttons in a Word document with Kutools for Word
If your document contains multiple sets of radio buttons like the screenshot below and you want to group them separately, follow these steps:
1. Select the radio buttons that should belong to the same group. Then, click Kutools > Check Box in the toolbar.
2. In the Check Box dialog box, click "Group the selected radio buttons."
3. The "Group the selected radio buttons" dialog box will appear. Enter a unique group name in the Group Name text box, then click OK to confirm.
📌 Result: You will now see that the selected radio buttons function as an independent group.
Notes:
- If your document contains two groups of radio buttons, you only need to name one group—Word will automatically separate the other.
- If you have three or more groups, assign names to at least two of them to ensure proper functionality.
- Each group must have a unique name to function separately.
