How to show or hide paragraph marks in Word?
Paragraph mark is the symbol to indicate the end of a paragraph and the beginning of a new paragraph.

Classic Menu for Office: Bring Old Look of Office 2003 Back to Office 2007, 2010, 2013 and 2016.
There are two ways to show/hide paragraph marks for Word users.
Step 1: click Office button (in Word 2010) or File tab (in Word 2010 / 2013).
Step 2: click Display, and check or uncheck Paragraph marks to show/hide paragraph marks in document. Check or uncheck Show all formatting marks can work, too.
Step 1: click show/hide button in Paragraph group of Home tab, or press keyboard shortcut Ctrl+* (sometimes written as Shift+Ctrl+8).
TIP: Show/hide command button and shortcut are not available to show/hide paragraph marks if you have checked paragraph marks option in Display item.

1. Please apply the utility by clicking Enterprise > Display Setting. See screenshot:
2. Then check Paragraph Marks in the pop-up dialog, see screenshot:

Tips: if you want to hide the paragraph marks, uncheck the check box.
