Quickly create multiple hyperlinks by inserting same address to all same texts in Word

Creating a single hyperlink in Microsoft Word is simple. However, adding the same hyperlink to multiple instances of identical text throughout your document can be tedious and repetitive. Kutools for Word's Batch Create Links feature allows you to easily insert the same URL or address into all identical texts within your document at once.

Insert Multiple Hyperlinks to Identical Text in Word

To quickly add multiple hyperlinks to all identical texts within your Word document, follow these steps:

1. Open the Word document and click Kutools Plus > Batch Create Links.

2. In the Insert Hyperlinks dialog box, configure the following options:

(1): Enter the target text into the Keyword box.

(2): (Optional) Under Scope, select Footnote and Endnote to include identical text located in footnotes and endnotes.

(3): Choose your hyperlink type (Web Page, Folder, File, etc.).

(4): In the Web Page textbox, enter your hyperlink address or URL.

3. Click OK.

4. A confirmation dialog appears, displaying how many keywords have been identified and how many hyperlinks have been created. Click OK to complete.

✨ Result: The identical text instances throughout your document are now hyperlinked automatically.

Note:

To add a screentip for your hyperlinks, click the ScreenTip button in the dialog, enter your desired screentip text, and click OK.
