Quickly open current document location and auto recovery folder in Word
Kutools for Word
If you want to open the folder of current document in Word, the Kutools for Word's Open Current Document Location utility can quickly open the folder of current document. Furthermore, you can also quickly open default save location, auto recovery location and user templates location with Kutools for Word.

Open folder of current document in Word
If you open a document in Word and want to access the folder of current document, you can quickly open or access the folder of current document as follows:
1. Please active the document window that you want to open or access its folder in Word, and then applying the utility by clicking Kutools >> More >> Open Current Document Location.
2. It will open the folder of current document as shown in the below screenshot.
Open default save location in Word
If you want to qucikly open or access the default save location in Word, you can get it donw as follows:
1. Open your Word, and then applying this utility by clicking Kutools >> More >> Open Default Save Location.
2. It will open the default save folder of your Word application as shown in the below screenshot.
Open auto recovery location in Word
If you want to quickly open or access the auto recovery location in Word, you can get it done as follows:
1. Open your Word application, and then applying this utility by clicking licking Kutools >> More >> Auto Recovery Location.
2. It will open the auto recovery location of your Word application as shown in the below screenshot.
Open user template location in Word
If you want to quickly open or access the user template location in Word, you can get it done as follows:
1. Open the Word application, and then applying this utility by clicking Kutools >> More >> Open User Templates Location.
2. It will open the user templates location of your Word as shown in the below screenshot.
Usually the path of User Template Folder is C:\Users\your user name\appdata\roaming\microsoft\templates. If your user name is James, the "james" will replace the "your user name ".
