Quickly remove all left indents in Word

When we are editing a document, we often find that there may be some different kinds of left indents existing in the document which sometimes need to be removed. We can remove them one by one manually or set up the paragraph dialogue, but these two methods are not simple enough for removing. While with Kutools for Word’s Remove All Left Indents utility, we can remove all left indents by a click first, and the work of unifying will be easier.

Remove all left indents from the whole document

Click Kutools > Indents > Remove All Left Indents. See screenshot:

Notes:

1. Remove All Left Indents option only can remove left indents. Left indent are making the indentation by left indent maker. See screenshot:

2. Remove All Left Indents utility cannot remove other indents, such as:

Right indents, which are making indentations by right indent maker (if you want to remove all right indents from the whole document, go to Quickly remove all right indent in Word), see screenshot:

Hanging indents, which are making indentations by hanging indent maker, see screenshot:

First line indents, which are making indentations by first line maker (if you want to remove all first line indents, go to Quickly remove all first line indents in Word), see screenshot:

Space or tab indents, which are making indentations by clicking Space or Tab (if you want to remove space or tab indents, go to Quickly remove all space/tab indents in Word), see screenshot:

Remove all left indents from the whole document.

If there are contents with different kinds of left indents in your current document as shown in the bellow screenshot, and you want to remove all these left indents, you can quickly get it done as follow:

1. Put your cursor on the current document and then please apply this utility by clicking Kutools > Indents > Remove All Left Indents. See screenshot:

2. After clicking Remove All Left Indents, all left indents will be removed from the whole document. See screenshots:
