Please follow below steps to disable auto signature in replying and forwarding emails in Outlook.

1. In the Mail view, click Home > New Email to create a new email.

2. In the opening Message window, please click Insert > Signature > Signatures. See screenshot:

3. Now the Signatures and Stationery dialog box comes out. Please select the specified email account within which you want to reply/forward without signature from the E-mail account drop down list, and select (none) from the Replies/forwards drop down list. See screenshot:

Note: If you want to reply/forward without signatures within many email accounts, please repeat this step for each email account.

4. Click the OK button to close the Signatures and Stationery dialog box, and close the new email without saving.

From now on, the auto signature won’t be added into all replying/forwarding emails within the specified email accounts in Outlook.

I understand and know how to add and remove signatures from the signature tab, the problem is IT has embedded an email signature to appear when sending emails, that you cannot see at ALL before sending, it is an embedded, added signature done by IT. Is it possible to disable it from being auto-added to my outgoing emails? TIA!!!

Hi there,

Please press Alt + F11 to open the VBA window, and check if there is a code as shown below in ThisOutlookSession.
https://www.extendoffice.com/images/stories/comments/ljy-picture/Application_ItemSend.png

If there is, add an apostrophe before the code as shown below:
'Private Sub Application_ItemSend(ByVal Item As Object, Cancel As Boolean)

'End Sub
So that the signature will no be added.

When you need the signature, delete the added apostrophes.

Amanda
